Up to five of your devices can tap into your iTunes library either directly on a network drive, through a special app, or via a feature called Home Sharing. Through Home Sharing, you can share your iTunes music library from one machine and make it accessible to other devices as long as they’re all on the same network.
Family Sharing lets you and up to five other family members share access to amazing Apple services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Card. Your group can also share iTunes, Apple Books, and App Store purchases, an iCloud storage plan, and a family photo album.
You can have as many AppleIDs as you want (each does need an email address that is NOT already in use as an AppleID), and you can use a different AppleID for any Apple service (iTunes and App store, another for iMessage, another for iCloud, another for these forums,…).
As long as you have both signed on to the iTunes library you are syncing with, and as long as you have both authorized that computer to your iTunes sign-on, you can share (or eliminate) any music you wish from your individual devices.

Can your family see your music on Apple Music?
When you set up purchase sharing, everyone in the family gets access to the apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books that family members buy. The content automatically appears on the Purchased page in the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Books, or Apple TV app. Some items can’t be shared. Turn on purchase sharing.
Go to the playlist that won’t allow you to share it. Then go to three dots on the top right side > Edit, select “Show on My Profile and in Search”. Once you’ve done this, it should save this and you can tap ‘Done’. Tap the three dots again to see if ‘Share’ shows up.
There is no way to share Apple Music without the Family Sharing subscription. Either you subscribe to the plan or stick to keeping your individual subscription to yourself.
