The maximum quantity allowed per order is 100000 and the maximum value per order is ₹2 Crore as per Zerodha’s risk management policy. Orders that exceed these limits are rejected.
Can I buy more than 3 stocks in a day?
There are no restrictions on placing multiple buy orders to buy the same stock more than once in a day, and you can place multiple sell orders to sell the same stock in a single day.
The three stock trading sessions
There are actually three markets in which shares can be traded: The pre-market trades from 4 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. ET. The regular market trades from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. The after-hours market trades from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
The regular market trading hours are from 09:15 AM and close at 03:30 PM. There’s a pre-opening session before 09:15 AM and a post-closing session after 03:30 PM.

If a company’s shares are publicly listed, a person can purchase as many of those shares as they want. Beyond a certain holding percentage, however, the person buying the shares must disclose their purchase publicly.
Can we sell CNC on same day in Zerodha?
CNC code does not restrict you from selling the stock the same day if desired. But the sell quantity cannot be more than the buy quantity. There is no penalty if you sell the shares on the same day.
Is day trading illegal?

How many trades can I do in a day Zerodha?

Cash and Carry (CNC) is used for delivery based trading in equity. In delivery based trade, you intend to hold the stocks overnight for however long you wish.
